South Orange County Detox and Treatment offers residential in-patient addiction treatment for people suffering from alcohol and drug addiction. Services are provided 24 hours/7 days per week. Admission to this level of care usually begins with complete medical and psychosocial assessment, including a mental health assessment. The treatment component consists of individual, group therapy, family counseling, addiction and recovery education, introduction to 12-steps, self-help support groups and interactive peer support.
South Orange County Detox and Treatment understands that each individual is unique and comes into detox and addiction treatment at different stages and require an individualized treatment plan. The short-term component of treatment depends upon individual need and completion of treatment plan goals that are developed with client input. Individual, client-centered goals, strengths, needs, abilities, and preferences are addressed and identified during the initial assessment. A treatment plan is designed and implemented for each individual to address his/her substance use issues and other areas such as legal difficulties, medical, dental, vision, housing employment, family and interpersonal problems.
Residential Treatment is always followed by a transition to ongoing, continuing care in a different level of treatment such as PHP or IOP. During treatment, the continuum of care is structured to help clients find meaning in life that is primary, powerful and motivational.
